This may include personalized designs, factory paint schemes, photos and color match services. Our team will offer options and recommendations based on our extensive experience and provide renderings which depict the finished design.

Aircraft painting services is a well defined and exacting process. However, the details and intracacies of each project are unique and Blue Sky Aviation will invest the time and energy that will result in a professional and perfect paint application. Our base painting process incudes the following steps and stages:

• Airframe inspection and pre-paint repair actions
• Removing all inspection panels and flight control surfaces
• Chemical wash stripping or high-pressure baking-soda stripping
• Metal preparation and anti-corrosion processes
• Primer and Base Coat Application
• Trim Paint Application - two colors
• Re-assembly of all inspection panels, and rebalance of flight control surfaces
• Post painting inspection process by a three-person team, which includes a licensed A&P mechanic to ensure the airplane is restored to the pre-painting flight conditon
